The first area of the home we're going to discuss is one that is often overlooked. The parking area is the first place that people encounter on their return home. It's the place where our method of transportation stops and our return home begins. At first glance, you might not think that the parking area presents any challenges to accessibility. In fact, the garage behind me looks pretty inviting and clean. 

However, for some, this is where the trouble is just beginning. Do you ever arrive home and just wish you could transport yourself inside with your favorite snack and your favorite TV show and not have to bring in all of those groceries? Upon returning home, there's actually a lot that needs to be done from parking your car to removing our seatbelts, opening our doors, gathering our belongings, and making sure the path is well lit to get to the door.

There is a lot of room for challenges for individuals that live in homes with a less than ideal parking location. Luckily, there are numerous of helpful strategies and products that combat these challenges.
